Encouraging circular economy, short circuits and empowering citizens to adopt mitigation measures
Idea by Odemira TCCD
We must encourage greater proximity to nature, but also empower citizens to adopt new behaviours and more sustainable lifestyles. For example, it is important to promote family farming and short production and consumption circuits, which have a recognised impact on the carbon footprint, and to provide training for citizens on issues such as creating kitchen gardens, managing gardens with endogenous plants, composting, etc. Circular economy policies must continue to be promoted, and the community must be mobilised to adopt more sustainable behaviours, but the official authorities must monitor the implementation and adoption of measures and provide training and information to citizens so that they can adopt and implement them.Encouraging circular economy, short circuits and empowering citizens to adopt mitigation measures
